THE HOUSE

Quietly extraordinary

Built in 1820 and a listed building in a conservation area, Langham Hall sits in its own grounds in one of North Norfolk’s most picturesque villages. Ancient trees, a rolling lawn, the church tower framed in the windows, and the particular peace that belongs to houses of this age and character.

This is not a hotel. It is a private house that opens its doors to those who know what they’re looking for — comfort without pretension, beauty without bustle, and the kind of space that gives but asks nothing of you.

Dogs are very welcome at Langham Hall. We believe a country retreat is all the better for four-legged company — well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout the house and grounds.

BREAKFAST

Mornings made better

Our Healthy Buffet Breakfast is laid out each morning in the Orangery and the Lobby Bar. Help yourself to cereals, yoghurt and compote, fresh breads, croissants and pains au chocolat, and a spread of jams and preserves. Alongside fruit juices, freshly boiled eggs and hot tea and coffee, choose a platter of fish, meat or cheese, with fresh fruit on the side.

Eat wherever suits — at a table in the Orangery, in the Lobby Bar, or Out on the Terrace when the weather allows. For a slower start, arrange it the night before and the same breakfast comes to your room as a hamper.

THE ROOMS

Ten rooms, no two alike

Six en-suite bedrooms can be found within the house itself, with four more arriving in the Coach House in Spring 2027. Each room has its own character, complemented by elegant Georgian proportions, deep windowsills and the kind of countryside quiet you only get this far from a main road.

Coming as a group? Meadow View, the cottage a few minutes’ walk away, adds five more bedrooms — the whole place to yourselves, whether that is a family gathering or a weekend with friends.
